One of our newest applications, Fidelus Global Directory is a user-friendly replacement to the out-of-the-box directory found on most Cisco IP phones which requires multiple key presses for each letter.

Another major benefit that most clients don't realize is that Global Directory can also help you save on (or even eliminate) the cost of international calls within your firm. By using the applications simple T9 search to find contacts outside your market you can automatically route calls through the WAN thus saving on up charges from your phone carrier

For example a major finance firm based in NYC has offices connected by directory in the US, UK, Australia, and Japan. Currently to dial internationally they must start with country code than local code followed by phone number, with Fidelus they can take out these steps by using push button or 4 digit dialing to call out. More importantly though this client can now auto route calls through the WAN instead of PSTN thus eliminating the carrier charge.
