Introduction 

IBM Lotus Sametime (Sametime) is a software application that delivers comprehensive communications and collaboration capabilities. This includes instant messaging (IM) capabilities, Web conferencing, presence awareness, and video. Lotus Sametime is an open-standards-based software providing support for Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh and Linux based systems. Sametime also integrates with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
