NEW YORK, New York - Fidelus Technologies, a leader in advanced Unified Communications solutions, won "US and Canada Vertical Partner of the Year" and "Outstanding Solutions Partner of the Year (East)" awards at the 2009 Annual Cisco Partner Summit in Boston, Massachusetts last week.
Each year at the Cisco Partner Summit Cisco recognizes the outstanding performance of their global partners and highlights their achievements. "We are honored to receive these prestigious awards," said Ron Rosansky, President and CEO of Fidelus Technologies. "To take top honors for both Vertical and Outstanding Solutions Partner of the Year is a testament to our client focus and the efforts we take to understand their business. These efforts enable us to build and develop high impact, transformational solutions."
Fidelus was awarded "Vertical Partner of the Year" for its outstanding achievement, service and growth in the Legal and Healthcare verticals. Since its inception in 2002, over 65% of Fidelus' Unified Communications implementations were domestic and global law firms. Fidelus leveraged their client focus and expertise by expanding into the Healthcare industry in 2007, where imbedding Unified Communications technologies into business processes to streamline workflow is a growing necessity.
Fidelus was also awarded "Outstanding Solutions Partner of the Year (East)" for its breakthrough application development initiatives implemented over the past year. One of Fidelus' healthcare solution highlights is the Voice Enabled Location Services Application (VELS), a solution that enables hospital staff to quickly and easily track and retrieve valuable assets such as wheelchairs and doctors with the push of a button. "A critical challenge facing today's hospitals is the frustration and delay of locating vital assets such as, infusion pumps, available beds, etc. It is estimated that hospital staff spend 25-30% of their time physically looking for these assets at the expense of tending to patients and tasks that contribute to the bottom line," Rosansky explains. The VELS solution is easy to use, and uses the same network infrastructure and equipment many hospitals already have in place, further extending their technology investment and ROI. A demonstration of Fidelus' VELS solution was performed during the Keynote Address on Thursday, June 4th, given by Cisco's Chief Executive Officer, John Chambers.
"Fidelus is eager to continue to identify and develop additional cross-market solutions that integrate Unified Communications technologies into business processes. This will enable our partners and clients to be more efficient and do more with fewer resources, particularly in this economic climate," Rosansky said.
