Announcing The “Heroes for Heroes” Initiative for NYC Hospitals and Their Caregivers

We are proud, grateful, and humbled to be working with Veteran’s PATH and to announce The Heroes for Heroes Initiative.

To help address the adverse psychological impact front-line New York City caregivers are experiencing, Veteran’s PATH, a California-based non-profit, will offer New York City hospitals and caregivers combat-veteran led mindfulness and meditation coaching via Cisco WebEx (one-to-many).

Mindfulness and meditation coaching sessions may be structured as a three-part series and can be customized on a per hospital basis.

This will help the caregiver community in the following ways:

  1. Provide caregivers mindfulness and meditation coaching from combat-veterans who work with a community that regularly experiences trauma.
  2. Engage caregivers by offering a unique experience of mindfulness and meditation coaching from combat veterans familiar with the challenges and intensity of living on the front-lines.
  3. Help Veteran’s PATH by bringing their expertise in volatile and uncertain situations to civilian communities experiencing the same.

The Heroes for Heroes Initiative will benefit caregivers, Veteran’s PATH and its beneficiaries. Fidelus Technologies is working with Veteran’s PATH to facilitate introductions to interested New York City hospitals and raise the required funds for this initiative.

A big thank you to the initiative sponsors Cisco Systems and Ingram Micro.
